Hopefully you are enjoying some down time this holiday season as 2020 comes to a close. We are excited for what 2021 has in store for us, and wanted to get our January meeting on the calendar!
We have an awesome meeting planned for Thursday, Jan 14, 2021 @ 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST. We have ultra bad-Ace Ken Black (Alteryx ACE that is) coming to speak on a use case, and our very own Tyler Willing bringing some useful tips and tricks with a hands-on training.
Register here ➜ https://pages.alteryx.com/usergroup-atlanta-ga-jan.html
Also, the meeting will be held on WebEx which will allow it to be much more interactive and engaging since it allows 2-way communication. Come ready to learn and interact with the ATL Alteryx community.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and please don't hesitate to reach out here on the community board with any thoughts/questions/etc. We are here for each other! 🙂
Much love peeps,
Your ATL Alteryx UG Leadership Team (Nathan + Tyler + Korri)
For the hands-on training section of our presentation this week we will be going over Analytic Apps/Macros. If you would like to follow along, get a head start, or play around with the example used in our meeting you can find it on the Alteryx Community here:
Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting yesterday! The leaders and I are very excited to bring more regular meetings this year.
We would appreciate it if you could take 5 minutes to fill out a meeting experience survey:
This survey will help deliver an improved meeting experience and make sure we meet your needs. If you have any suggestions for future topics or have questions, don't hesitate to reply to this thread.
I'll be working with the leaders to get a copy of the recording over shortly.
In case anyone is interested in the topic I presented, I created a blog post to accompany my presentation. The article includes downloadable content and it even has a rendition of me practicing the talk (only true dorks do this!).
You can find it here:
Many thanks to those who attended the meeting - Ken
The article I wrote to accompany the presentation is a comprehensive coverage of the topic. You can get the DMA shapefiles and the workflows I showed in the presentation right here: A Useful DMA Shapefile for Tableau and Alteryx
