The Alteryx-Teradata partnership continues to gain momentum and, in that vein, we are very pleased to announce that Scott Gnau, the President of Teradata Labs, will participate in our Inspire 2013 Conference next week in Phoenix.

Scott, who leads all engineering for Teradata, will join Alteryx President & COO George Mathew on stage during his Thursday morning keynote to talk about the growing partnership and how Alteryx supports Teradata’s Unified Data Architecture (UDA). Scott and George will discuss the benefits of UDA as an analytic platform solution and how Alteryx helps deliver that analytic value to Line of Business analysts and decision makers.
Also speaking at Inspire is Bill Franks, Teradata’s Chief Analytics Officer and the author of Taming the Big Data Tidal Wave. Bill is a big proponent of the fact that high value analytics requires content from many sources. “The biggest value in big data can be driving by combining big data with other corporate data,” said Bill. “By putting what is found in big data into a larger context, the quantity and quality of insights will increase exponentially. This is why big data needs to be folded into an overall data strategy as opposed to having a stand-alone big data strategy.” Bill, will deliver his “Cutting Through the Hype: What You Really Need to Know About Big Data” talk to kick off our Business Leadership track on Wednesday morning.
Bruce Johnson, a Director on Teradata’s Alliances team, will deliver a breakout session on Thursday afternoon called “Getting Your Data to “Play Nice with Others” using Alteryx and Teradata.” This session will build upon Scott’s keynote appearance and delve into more detail on the UDA and how Alteryx enables data blending and analytics to deliver value on top of the Teradata UDA.
As a Diamond Sponsor of the Inspire Conference, Teradata will be in our Sponsor & Networking Lounge throughout the event. We look forward to Teradata’s inaugural participation in the Inspire conference and to seeing all of you in Phoenix next week!
