I do a lot of events every year, from massive tradeshows to smaller, more intimate conferences focused on a specific topic. At a time of year when everyone is making holiday plans, and preparing for Black Friday sales, the thought of spending four days at another tradeshow doesn’t sound like much fun. But yet, now that we’re just a few days away from Dreamforce, Salesforce.com’s annual user conference, I’m excited.
Now in its 11th year, Dreamforce is a massive gathering of Salesforce.com customers, partners, and everyone else in their ecosystem. With keynotes by Salesforce, Yahoo, and Facebook executives, plus a performance at AT&T Park by Green Day and Blondie, you quickly realize this is not your average conference. It’s easy to be drawn to those prominent events, and I’ll be there too, but tradeshow veterans know the real value comes from the many personal interactions, either in smaller sessions or on the exhibit floor, to talk about specific problems you’re trying to solve and research new solutions.
Alteryx is coming to Dreamforce next week to talk with sales and marketing executives and line-of-business analysts who are trying to use their data in Salesforce.com, in conjunction with other customer and third-party market data, to find new revenue opportunities, optimize sales and marketing campaign strategies, improve forecasting accuracy, and more. The apps in our new Salesforce district in the Alteryx Analytics Gallery illustrate how this can be achieved by blending and enriching customer data regardless of format, then easily analyzing and sharing the resulting insight.
To learn more about the Salesforce district and these specific apps, plus discover all the ways analytics can enhance your Salesforce.com implementation, join me and our solution experts during some of the educational and networking opportunities we have planned for you:
- Monday, November 18 from 1:00pm to 1:15pm: Join me in the Cloud Expo Partner Theater to hear my presentation about how leading companies are “Accelerating the Sales and Marketing Cycle with Analytics.”
- Tuesday, November 19 from 11:30am to 1:30pm: Grab lunch in Yerba Buena Gardens and network with your sales and marketing peers during my informal table talk, “Are You Leveraging Omni-Channel Customer Analytics?”
- Monday through Thursday: Visit with our solution experts in Alteryx booth #1418 in the Cloud Expo to see the apps demonstrated live, and discuss your specific needs. The Cloud Expo is open daily:
- Monday, November 18 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm
- Tuesday, November 19 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
- Wednesday, November 20 from 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Thursday, November 21 from 9:00am to 2:00pm
Dreamforce is a great event to discover new solutions, but it’s also beneficial to network with your peers and take time to relax. Alteryx is a member of the Marketing Alliance, a select group of organizations dedicated to making internal marketing functions more efficient and external marketing programs more effective. The Marketing Alliance is throwing the “Silver Lining Party” featuring internationally acclaimed video mix artist, Mike Relm. If you’ve ever had the chance to see his unique audio and video mash-ups containing clips from classic films, television, and music, you’ll understand why The Mezzanine will be the place to be on Monday night.
Reserve your ticket now for the event your sales and marketing peers will be talking about all week long.
