Alteryx makes analytics more accessible and consumable for analysts and decision makers, and Alteryx Analytics 9.0 continues that trend. New to Alteryx Analytics 9.0 are two improvements to existing technology that deliver a greater user experience for analysts to not only create analytics but also deliver analytic results to decision makers within their organization.
Alteryx Analytics gives users the ability to take an existing workflow and turn it into a custom analytic application that can be accessed via the cloud, private server or desktop. In Alteryx Analytics 9.0 the tools and environment in which these custom analytic applications can be built has changed. There are new tools in the Alteryx tool bar that can be incorporated directly into your workflow so that you understand just where the questions, conditions or actions are applied in the application. In addition, there is the new Interface Designer that allows users to see and edit the layout of the questions as they would appear in the application. This will be a great relief to veteran users of Alteryx because it allows users to see the questions and change the design of the question layout before the application is run.
The second improvement to the user experience revolves around taking these analytic applications and making them scale in your internal environment. The new Alteryx Server delivers the same user experience as the field-proven, cloud-based Alteryx Analytics Gallery. Organizations can now take these analytic applications and put them into production behind their own firewall, giving users the same experience they get on the public-facing Alteryx Analytics Gallery, but with a more personal touch. This can be done by adding your company logo or configuring your gallery to use your existing Windows authentication for easier access.
These are just a couple of highlights about how Alteryx Analytics 9.0 helps scale the analytic needs of all users. To find out more, register for the Alteryx Analytics 9.0 Launch webinar on May 14 and download the trial edition to try the platform for yourself.
