Alteryx AiDIN
We are pleased to introduce Alteryx AiDIN, the AI engine that infuses the power of generative AI & Machine Learning (ML) across the Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform. Alteryx AiDIN combines the intuitive and powerful nature of generative AI with the trusted, secure and enterprise-grade capabilities of the Alteryx Analytics Cloud Platform and is built to help anyone accelerate intelligent decisions across the enterprise.
Let’s take a deeper look at two of our newest accelerative generative AI-powered features:
Alteryx Designer Workflow Summary Tool
The Workflow Summary Tool is a new Designer tool by Alteryx that uses generative AI to provide summaries of Alteryx workflows. The tool provides concise summaries of a workflow’s purpose, inputs, outputs, and key logic steps. It can be used to document workflows as they are created or to summarize existing workflows for easier understanding.
Alteryx Auto Insights Magic Documents
Magic Documents is a new Auto Insights feature that leverages the Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services Open AI Service, an enterprise-grade service, to develop automated communications — synthesizing and delivering trusted analytical insights to stakeholders.
Here’s how Magic Documents work: Once you’ve developed your insights in Auto Insights, simply select your medium of communication (e.g. e-mail, PowerPoint, etc.) and indicate your audience. AiDIN will then automatically draft a communications deliverable that summarizes your insights in plain language. You can then review and edit the communication as needed and send it off to your stakeholders with just a few clicks.
Alteryx Location Intelligence
We are excited to introduce the latest product within our growing set of innovations in the Alteryx Analytics Platform, Alteryx Location Intelligence, designed to empower businesses to make decisions based on location data. The value of data comes from its ability to provide meaningful and actionable insights, and that's where Alteryx Location Intelligence comes in. Alteryx believes that analytics should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical background. Alteryx Location Intelligence makes this possible by enabling users to perform spatial analysis and make data-driven decisions without needing to be experts in data science or geographic information systems (GIS). Alteryx App Builder
We're excited to announce Alteryx App Builder is live. Alteryx App Builder is a new key service within the Alteryx Analytics Cloud platform that provides easy app creation and design for any device in a code-free, drag and drop interface. It also makes democratizing organizational analytics for actionable decisions easier across the enterprise with self-service apps that don't have dependencies on data science or analytics teams, and users spend less time waiting for results. Alteryx IO, our new developer center site, is now live too! Alteryx IO provides a new streamlined layout that makes finding and utilizing resources such as APIs and SDKs to extend the Alteryx Platform easier than ever. Whether you're just starting out or dipping your toes into developing or you're a seasoned pro, Alteryx IO has resources for every skill level. Alteryx Designer Cloud
We are excited to share that Tool Examples are now available in Designer Cloud! Users can hover over tools to get an overview of the capabilities, along with examples of how a tool works. This should help with upskilling users, or introducing new users to Designer Cloud’s capabilities.
We’ve also added an Engine Selection feature, so users can select which engine they would like to run jobs on from a simple dropdown menu next to the "Run Job” button. Currently, users can choose from Photon, Spark, or Snowflake.
Additionally, in the Results Grid, users now have the option to toggle Suggestions on/off, and can now preview suggestions before applying them on the canvas.
Finally, we’ve added additional data cleansing functionality inside of the Results Grid, allowing users to remove unwanted characters from the column header menu.
