Alteryx Designer Cloud: New Dual Palette Experience
This month, we’re announcing a huge update to Designer Cloud – the Dual Palette Experience, which is now in Public Preview.
What’s the Dual Palette Experience?
Now, in Designer Cloud, users can choose between Cloud Native Mode or the new Standard Mode.
Standard Mode is a new mode that will include a more robust selection of new tools covering a wider variety of Designer Prep and Blend use cases.
Cloud Native Mode is the Designer Cloud you already know and love, featuring a smaller set of tools with access to pushdown execution.

Alteryx Auto Insights: Enhanced Platform Data Integration
In July, we released an enhanced platform integration between Auto Insights and the Alteryx Analytics Cloud (AAC) Platform. This release adds support for AAC Connections & Datasets, allowing users to leverage the full suite of connectivity options available within AAC as data sources for Auto Insights. This includes integration with the Analytics Cloud Library, Schedules, Plans & Sharing. Additional key points include:

Connections: Users are now able to leverage the full suite of 70+ connectivity options available within Analytics Cloud for use in Auto Insights, including Databricks Unity Catalog, Amazon S3, Google Analytics, Google BigQuery, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Salesforce, and more.

Datasets: Analytics Cloud supports a broad range of file types including .CSV, .TSV, .JSON, as well as .XLS, .XLSX and .XLSM file types providing a multi-tab workbook approach alternative for smaller datasets. In addition, file uploads can be compressed using either bzip2 or gzip formats. Analytics Cloud Datasets also allows Auto Insights to import data directly from the output of a Designer Cloud workflow, both of which can be individually scheduled or centrally orchestrated within a Plan run.

Library: Auto Insights Datasets are now shown within the Analytics Cloud Library, allowing centralized management alongside all other Apps, including Sharing, Scheduling, and creating a Mission in Auto Insights.
Cloud Execution for Desktop: Support for Google Cloud Platform
Alteryx Cloud Execution for Desktop lets you extend and augment your desktop workflows with the cloud by storing, scheduling, and executing your Designer-built workflows with Alteryx Analytics Cloud (AAC). This latest release adds support for customers using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as their cloud of choice. So today, Alteryx Cloud Execution for Desktop supports the following major cloud platforms:
