After Inspire 2015 we launched what ultimately became a 38-city roadshow that attracted thousands of data analysts and business leaders across seven countries. We’re in the process of wrapping up that tour with eight final stops in the US, the UK, Denmark and France.
We’re also working hard to deliver not just one, but for the first time, two Inspire conferences in 2016. Inspire 2016 in San Diego this June is shaping up to be our best and most widely attended Inspire ever, with more training and incredible customer and keynote speakers. And, our first Inspire outside the U.S., Inspire Europe 2016, will bring customers and prospects to London from all over Europe and beyond for two days of learning and discussions about Alteryx best practices.
So that brings me to what we’re going to do between the end of the roadshow and the beginning of Inspire. The feedback we continue to receive from the roadshow is extremely positive, and it is one of the reasons we decided to extend it from a 25-city to a 38-city roadshow back in October. Attendees really love seeing the product demoed live, but are anxious for a new level of engagement.
With that objective in mind, I’m proud to announce our 12-city, Road to Self-Service Analytics workshop. The “workshop” moniker is key because the big difference between the current roadshow and these workshop sessions is that we’re adding a 75-minute, hands-on session where our solution engineers will help you create your first workflow in Alteryx.
Each event will start with one of our executives describing why the analytics market has transitioned from the traditional, data scientist-centric model that relied on complex coding, to one where data analysts are empowered with more efficient ways to prep, blend and analyze data. This will be followed by a short demo of Alteryx to give business leaders and other people who might not ultimately be day-to-day users of Alteryx to see what it’s capable of.
Then, after a quick break to install a trial of Alteryx onto any laptops where it wasn’t installed in advance, one of our solution engineers will walk data analysts who pre-registered for the workshop portion of the event though a guided demo where they can follow along on their laptops to prep, blend and analyze the sample data that will be provided. By the time they leave they’ll have the basics down so they can use Alteryx for the remainder of the 14-day trial to create repeatable workflows to work with their own data when back at the office.
