Alex SiskoI just completed my one year anniversary at Alteryx, and in this one year I have had the pleasure of meeting many very enthusiastic customers. These are customers that are absolutely thrilled with the way Alteryx has helped improve their business –in terms of productivity, deeper insights and speed of decision-making. But like everything else, a few stand out. In next few weeks, I’ll share with you some of these customers’ stories that have stayed with me. CROSSMARK is one of them.

For those of you who don’t know, CROSSMARK is one of the largest sales and marketing service providers in the consumer goods industry (CPG). To provide the insights its CPG and retailer clients needed, the company pulls together huge volumes of data such as shopper data from Nielson and IRI, transactional data from retail point of sale (POS) systems, in-store behavior data, market trends data from industry associations, and more. Before using Alteryx, the company was using a variety of tools to get one view of the data, but it was a very time, and resource intensive process.

In fact, Alex Siskos, VP of Business Insights at CROSSMARK, was very skeptical when he first heard about Alteryx and its ability to crunch through data in hours verses the weeks or months it was taking them. His exact comment was “You haven’t met my data.”

Today, Alex is an enthusiastic convert!

Using Alteryx, his team was able to blend all the data they were trying to get in one place for over nine months in just 14 days. Alex’s group is now using Alteryx for everything—from the smallest projects to the largest. In his own words, “Alteryx has allowed us to move away from just managing the data to interacting with the data.”

Why read my views – when you can hear directly from Alex what he thinks about Alteryx, our ability to process through large volumes of data in hours verses weeks, and the ease-of-use which has made his data analysts so happy that they have turned in to “huggers!”

Meanwhile, I look forward to bringing you another customer story in a couple of weeks.
