With Big Data creating more focus than ever on understanding customer behavior; wants and needs, data compilers, aggregators, and service providers should really be in the best possible situation.
However, when I talk to our account teams and directly with MSPs, there are some crucial challenges that come up which seem to be taking the gloss off the opportunity of this data centric business trend. Core data service businesses are becoming commoditized, bringing in less revenue, which in turn threatens investment in next-generation services (such as multi-channel profiling), and these issues are further reinforced by the lack of productized offers that can provide growth to MSP businesses.
This year’s Inspire 2013 conference is the perfect place to learn how other Alteryx MSP clients and partners, such as Environics Analytics, are dealing with these challenges (and even providing fodder for Stephen Colbert apparently!). Simplifying and automating large-scale data blending, extending offerings, and productizing services are all key to much of the successes being highlighted at Inspire.
The show will include some significant product announcements, as well as the opportunity to get deeper knowledge and skills in areas such as predictive analytics. If you have new team members we also have a full day of introductory and intermediate product training.
You’ll also have the opportunity improve your direct client knowledge and learn how your specific services can improve the processes of organizations as diverse as Kaiser Permanente, Paychex, and Yum! Brands.
