Alteryx Chairman and CEO Dean Stoecker kicked off the Inspire 2014 (#Inspire14) conference today by honoring data analysts who are embracing analytic freedom, the power of new analytics tools that empower them and deliver said freedom, and are driving data-driven change for their companies and even industries.

To illustrate the next generation of analysts who are leading the charge, he had Parasvil Patel, the co-President of Harvard Business School’s Business and Data Analytics Club, and an Alteryx analyst himself, talk to how modern analysts want to take charge of the analytics and not wait around to receive the data and reports.

And to further make the point about analytic freedom for industries, Alex Siskos, the VP of Business Insights at Crossmark, also made an appearance.  Siskos, who earlier this month had publicly stated how much time Alteryx saves Crossmark and commented that “analysts hug me in the hallways,” talked about how Crossmark uses Alteryx to power analytics that are transforming the Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail industries.

The opening Alteryx keynote concluded in grand style with Alteryx President and COO George Mathew unveiling the Alteryx ACE (Analytics Certified Expert) Program, focused on recognizing the top Alteryx Data Analysts in the world, and an ensuing Alteryx employee performance to honor the ACEs.
