Schneider ElectricSchneider Electric is a leading global manufacturer of energy management and automation equipment.  Internally, its business analytics team has worked to become a data management and automation leader in its own right.  Under the leadership of Tom Sturgeon, Director of Business Analytics, the analytics team at Schneider has transformed the delivery of organizational insights with the use of the Alteryx self-service platform and their Salesforce data. Collaborating with the strategy and business development teams, the business analytics team has uncovered numerous growth opportunities and at extraordinary speeds no less.

 

Challenges: Blending Salesforce data with other sources took months

When discussing Schneider’s annual sales quota processes, Tom stated, “We bring together all of our CRM data from Salesforce as we build quotas. In the past, we had to smash together different Excel files, get a lot of different feedback from sales leaders, and that was very labor-intensive. It would start in October and finish, with good luck, in February. With Alteryx, we’ve been able to condense that to only a few weeks. Now we’re getting quotas out earlier and our salesforce is more motivated to go and sell faster.”

Great post. I think it'd be even better if Alteryx can provide a connector to pull Salesforce reports directly. I submitted a new idea at the Alteryx Ideqa Center. Please "Star" it if you would have a similar need, too.
