 grandprix-300x264

The final countdown has begun for Alteryx User Groups to find and submit their Grand Prix Team! Could that be you?

Don’t worry, there are 23 opportunities left in March for you to locate your nearest Alteryx User Group Meeting. You still have time to check out our User Group calendar at the bottom of the Community page, RSVP for a meeting, and say “I’m IN!”

Reminder: The teams who make it to the final round of the Grand Prix will receive FREE ADMISSION to Inspire Las Vegas 2017.

So what are you waiting for?? Find out more information about our Alteryx User Groups, and attend a meeting!

Here are some deadlines you should be aware of if you’re looking to create a team or join a team for this year’s Alteryx Grand Prix.

RACE SCHEDULE

  • Feb 1st - Mar 31st 2017: User Groups build their teams of three, where each participant focuses on a special Alteryx skill area (data blending, predictive, or spatial)
  • Week of April 3rd: Teams will participate in 30-minute Qualifying Rounds via WebEx, based on their Alteryx specialty
  • April-May 29th: Final teams work on their project to present in person at Inspire on June 5th. Teams will also be asked to publish a blog showcasing their project on the Alteryx Community by May 29th.

The winning team for the 2017 Grand Prix will be selected by Inspire 2017 attendees, and as new ‘Icons of Analytics’, will receive bragging rights and a prize to bring home to their User Group.

For other details around Inspire 2017, please visit the Inspire microsite, which has recently been updated with Speaker details. If you’ve already registered for the conference, you can now log into Agenda Builder, and register for the sessions you are most interested in attending.  Be sure to check with your Sales Rep for any discounts that may be available. And if you haven’t registered yet, you can do so here.

Hey guys,

Can you just confirm the last rule is correct, even for EMEA teams?

Or should it read at least one team member must be going to either the Americas or EMEA conference?

Hi @BenMoss, thanks for the question and sorry for the confusion. Right now we are conducting the nomination round for Grand Prix Las Vegas. Alteryx User Groups from the Americas and ROW only can enter this round.

We'll be conducting a separate EMEA and ROW nomination round with separate dates soon. We will keep you post on when they have been decided on. Thank you for the interest and can't wait to see what the London User Group brings to the table!

Hey @LaurenU,

For folk who are not able to get to the vegas event - will the grand prix challenges be published as weekly challenges as they have been in previous years (by @JoeM )?

These are some of the most fun weekly challenges, so hopefully the rest of us will also get to play along :-)

thank you
