Inspire Soultions CenterThe Solutions Center at Inspire has grown into a ‘must see’ aspect of the conference. The room consists of laptops with every possible Alteryx product and connector, comfortable furniture for taking a break, and most importantly, it contains the Alteryx Staff. We have some amazing people working at Alteryx, and it’s a huge reason why so many of us love our jobs here. The conference is so exciting for us because it allows many of us who work behind the scenes the opportunity to see the impact of our work and to meet our customers.

The team in the Solutions Center consists of:

  • The tireless Customer Success team, who patiently takes the calls from customers to help them through their questions
  • Professional Services, the team who will give your project the jump-start you need to get up and running
  • Content Engineers, the masterminds behind many of the connectors in Alteryx
  • Advanced Analytics team members, who will happily answer your questions on our Predictive functionalities
  • Product Managers who are looking to capture your feedback and ideas on how we can improve Alteryx.

But the team that may be farthest from your reach on a day-to-day basis is also in attendance – our Alteryx Developers. These people are the real deal – they carefully build out each and every piece of functionality and feature that goes into the product that we all love. Unfortunately, not all of them will be available in the Solution Center (someone has to keep the next release rolling!), but we will have a few veterans, as well as some new team members for you to work with.

Linda ThompsonBe on the lookout for Linda Thompson (@LindaT on the Community), a team member for over 8 years! Linda has been a driving force behind the development efforts of many of our drivers and database connectors. She has probably forgotten more about the product than most of us know, and her patience for questions knows no bounds!

BufferMake sure you track down Rob Bryan (@RobertB), another long-time staffer. Rob is the brainpower behind much of our spatial functionality. Have a question about Drivetimes, or want to know what the technical name is for the area between 3 and 5-miles that can be created with the Trade Area tool?  Just ask Rob to explain why we went with doughnut over toroid!

There will also be a lot of new staffers, since our team has grown so much. The Alteryx Solutions Center team will be color coded in fun t-shirts that identify their area of specialty, whether it’s Predictive, Spatial, Connectors, Developer tools or the overall ‘jack-of-all-trades’. If you’ve already registered for Inspire, please make sure you come by to say hi, ask a question and don’t forget to get your pins and stickers! If you’re on the fence and haven’t registered yet, what are you waiting for?

Be sure and register now for Inspire 2016.
