Today we announced the winners of the 2019 Analytics Excellence Awards and the newest members of the Alteryx ACE program on stage at Inspire Europe.

 

2019 Analytics Excellence Awards

 

Alteryx created the Alteryx Analytics Excellence Awards to celebrate users that go above and beyond to make a significant difference within their organization, industry or community. All customer and partner use cases automatically qualify for the Excellence Awards, which are presented during various Alteryx Inspire conferences throughout the year. The following use cases were selected by a as this year's honorees:

  2. Navigate to Alteryx Use Cases, click “Submit a Use Case” and follow instructions on the page.
  3. We will review your use case and work with you on any modifications required before publication.

 

The ACE Program

 

Alteryx also introduced the newest members of the ACE program during Inspire Europe. These outstanding Alteryx superusers offer invaluable support to their peers and the broader data science and analytics community. The nine new members joining the existing 32 ACEs are:

 

  • Alejandro Ferrandis Del Valle (@afv2688), BI admin & data scientist at BNP Paribas: Alejandro does big data analytics at BNP Paribas. He is passionate about helping others who are embarking on their analytical journeys and sharing best practices that he’s collected over the years. Alejandro also aims to develop predictive tools in R and Python.
  • Andrew Uttley, (@andyuttley) consulting manager at Javelin Group, part of Accenture Strategy: With Alteryx being an integral part of his process, Andy helps his clients build, collaborate and answer complex questions faster than ever. He gets his biggest satisfaction from witnessing people’s lightbulb moment(s). Andy is also working with AFG to find new ways in locating the best areas for solar panels in Rwanda.
  • Arthur Ladwein (@Ladarthure), data project manager at Caisse D’Epargne Hauts de France: Arthur empowers his team to do self-service analytics and is growing a culture of data at Caisse D’Epargne Hauts de France. He co-leads the Paris Alteryx User Group and is eager to share his journey with the global community. Since leveraging Alteryx, Arthur has been able to gain efficiency and decrease human error across the organization.
  • Charles Squyers (@CharlieS), lead analytics developer at Buxton: Charlie has weaved Alteryx into his day-to-day life since 2012 when he joined Buxton. Spatial and demographic capabilities have always been key technologies in the site selection solutions he’s built for his clients. Charlie’s philosophy is simple: If you have data, you need Alteryx. He’s worked with Alteryx 40 hours a week for years, he loves every day, and he’s still only scratched the surface of possibilities.
  • Daniel Languedoc (@danilang), senior system analyst at Brookfield Renewable Partners: Daniel, better known as danilang on the Alteryx community has been helping users globally solve some of the toughest questions and save countless hours. With 30 years of coding experience, Daniel has seen technologies come and go. Now with Alteryx in hand, he’s enabling and empowering his team to spend more time analyzing data and less time maintaining it.
  • Esther Bezborodko (@estherb47), senior IT trainer at McKinsey & Co., Inc.: Esther believes analytics is an equalizer. She doesn’t just solve the challenges, she enables colleagues to solve their data challenges too. She hopes to bring data science awareness to local teenagers and inspire the next generation of analysts.
  • Joseph Serpis (@JosephSerpis), consultant at Keyrus: Joseph is the genius behind JS420—humbly and calmly helping community members get to their solutions faster. He lights up at the opportunity to assist others in their analytical journey which is why he enjoys his work so much. Joseph globally impacts Keyrus customers all over the world by turning their raw data into tangible business value. If he’s not dragging and dropping on the canvas, Joseph can be found blogging and translating his knowledge into easy to digest storytelling.
  • Rafal Olbert (@rafalolbert), data scientist at ASDA: By day, Rafal develops advanced data solutions for ASDA, and by night, he inspires others to follow in his footsteps of curiosity. He is pushing boundaries of the data science spectrum and disrupting creativity within the data space with Alteryx.
  • Roland Schubert (@RolandSchubert), analytics consultant at R.S.V.P. Management Solutions: Roland helps his customers remove the friction by cutting through strenuous and error-prone manual work, while winning their day back to solve bigger business problems. He enables businesses to conduct the complete process of data analytics without dependencies or other departments, thus translating the problem into a reliable and understandable solutions instantaneously.

 

Following a successful Inspire U.S. earlier this year, it has been nothing short of incredible to hear our Alteryx Analytics Excellence Award winners and new ACEs share their stories on how Alteryx changed their lives for the better and how they are positively impacting the world around them because of it. We are excited to watch them continue to expand the Alteryx footprint and the power of analytics around the globe.

Olivia Duane Adams (Libby) is the chief advocacy officer (CAO) and co-founder of Alteryx, and one of only a handful of female founders to take a technology company public, along with her founding counterparts, Dean Stoecker and Ned Harding. Libby’s vision and leadership in the creation of the world’s leading data science and analytics community is a key factor in the company’s 24-year success. She is responsible for strengthening upskilling and reskilling efforts for Alteryx customers to enable a culture of analytics, scaling the presence of the Alteryx SparkED education program and furthering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
