34362441163_8906cca714_zDay 3 of Inspire 2017 was jam packed! Four Business Leader sessions highlighted use cases at Werner, Mastercard, Art Institute of Chicago and Autodesk; while four Data Analysts from Staples, Intermountain Healthcare, SCL Health, and DELL | EMC went deep into their Alteryx use cases for self-service analytics. Three Alteryx ACEs spoke on the ACE Panel, while three others shared their expertise around core Alteryx capabilities in breakout sessions. The day of learning was rounded out with 9 Alteryx Tech Track sessions from 12 iconic Alteryx employees, and 18 hours of Product Training. Whew!

Over 1,700 attendees were inspired by today's Product, Technology and Closing Keynotes, and enjoyed learning from our iconic Guest Keynote, Stephen Dubner, co-author of Freakonomics. Here's a breakdown of what was discussed.

Product Keynote

SVP of Strategy and Operations, Langley Eide, and SVP of Engineering, Jay Bourland, did today's Product Keynote. They highlighted key developments in the Alteryx platform and set the vision for where the platform is headed. We saw how Alteryx is bringing siloed data together in a centralized environment to deliver a governed and collaborative environment for users to access the most relevant data needed for their analysis. We also saw a glimpse into the future of reporting, and how Alteryx plans to support the broader analytics deployments and scaling with Python and Spark. These capabilities and more will help Alteryx become the de facto analytics platform of choice for enterprises.

Technology Keynote

35132072366_995d680c3b_zEver wonder what happens when you hit the little green "Run Workflow" button in Alteryx? Well, it turns out, so do hundreds of other Alteryx fans. It was a packed room for Founder and CTO, Ned Harding, and his presentation on the past, present and future of the Alteryx engine. Ned gave an interesting behind-the-scenes look at the engine, architecture and related product components. It was great to hear firsthand from the original Alteryx architect about how the engine works and the exciting new developments that we are doing to make it faster than ever.

Alteryx Grand Prix

The Alteryx 2017 Grand Prix was retuned to have more users participate in the event, highlight individual core competencies, and embody the spirit of the Alteryx community. For the first time, three drivers joined together to flex their Alteryx muscle and form one super racing team. From 10 teams to 3, to 1, we have a winner. Congratulations to the Denver User Group team, they'll be taking the trophy home to their User Group!

Thank you so much for an absolutely iconic Inspire 2017! We had a blast, learned a lot, and enjoyed our time cultivating icons. We hope you had a great time, too, and that you're returning to your office flexing your Alteryx muscle, feeling like Icons of Analytics.

See you in Anaheim June 4-7 for Inspire 2018!
