Inspire 2016 will be here before you know it, and if you haven’t registered yet there is still time.  For those who aren’t familiar with what the Data Analyst Track is – it’s  sessions led by Alteryx customers and partners who share real world experiences about specific problems they have dealt with and have been able to solve using Alteryx.

Since the conference offers a wide range of speaker sessions from various industries across two customer-led tracks (in addition to the Solutions Center and even training sessions), it can be difficult to know where to focus your time. In order to help, I want to give a sneak peek into some of the Data Analyst Track sessions and speakers so you know why you can't afford to miss this track:

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation: No Customers, No Sales, No Stores... Doesn't Mean No Data! Alteryx Use Cases in Philanthropy

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the largest private foundation in the world, doesn’t have customers, sales, or stores, but they still have data.  Since becoming a customer in September 2015, Vince O’Neill, Data Scientist, Digital Platforms and Ecosystems, and the foundation have already found a wide range of uses for Alteryx – from estimating the investment in digital by analyzing grant and strategy documents, to aggregating budget documents for reporting, and segmenting Nigerian respondents to a survey on attitudes about the use of modern contraceptives.

Motorcar Parts of America:Exponential Process Acceleration Using Alteryx
Motorcar Parts of AmericaListen to Cathy Bridges, Senior Merchandising Analyst at Motorcar Parts of America, as she discusses how Alteryx has replaced manual work that was extremely challenging, if not impossible, with workflow processes that have significantly reduced their data processing time. This has helped produce actionable results and insights instead of spending time cleansing and preparing data. You can also hear how Alteryx has given her and her team more freedom to use their imagination in developing new projects, processes and perspectives for analyzing data.

Charles Schwab: Transforming a Mountain into a Molehill: Alteryx Self-Service Analytics and Tableau Visualization
Charles SchwabJoin Jack Morgan, Manager Project Management and Business Intelligence at Charles Schwab, as he discusses how they use Alteryx to convert long days of data manipulation into minutes, and hours of laborious work into seconds. In this session, you'll see how Alteryx is used to process massive amounts of disparate data through a workflow that fuels a Tableau dashboard, empowering users from executive leadership to front end staff to visually navigate their data with ease and fluidity.

McDonald’s: Improving Strategic Development Planning with Alteryx

McDonald's CorporationJed Klink, Manager of Global Development and Design at McDonald’s, is a long time user of Alteryx who won the prestigious Presidents Award at McDonald’s for the work he did with Alteryx in 2012. Last year alone, he was able to complete 120 projects at McDonald’s using Alteryx. Jed will highlight how Alteryx has helped him significantly impact the growth of not only McDonald’s, but also his career – allowing him to move from the real estate group into roles that impact other areas of the business.

US Department of Agriculture: Improving Avian Influenza Emergency Response with Alteryx
US Department of AgricultureIn 2015, the United States poultry industry experienced an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), affecting 15 states and costing the industry an estimated $1.6 billion. As part of the response, Veterinary Services supplied maps and epidemiological analytics to people in the field, trade partners, and other officials. The level of support needed would have been impossible without automating many processes. In this session, you will hear Philip Riggs, Ph.D, Technical Information Specialist at the USDA, detail how Alteryx helped support the outbreak response by automating many time-consuming data management and analytical tasks.

Mosaic Medical: Risk Scores and Patient Panel Sizes: Predictive Analytics in Primary Care

Mosaic MedicalWhile large-scale hospital systems usually make the analytics headlines, smaller primary care organizations increasingly need nimble and predictive data solutions, too. Hear Marshall Greene, Senior Healthcare Data Analyst at Mosaic Medical, highlight how they use Alteryx to combine multiple sources of data (containing demographics, chronic diseases, lab results and more) to develop patient risk scores. This allows them to tailor patients' treatment plan to their unique needs and balance providers' patient volume based on patient complexity.

And this is only the first day of the Data Analyst Track! To check out day two, you can visit the Inspire 2016 Data Analysts Track page. Meanwhile, you still have time to sign up for sessions and for those who haven't registered for Inspire yet - what are you waiting for? Register now while space is still available.
