Inspire 2015 is just around the corner and this year's conference is poised to be bigger and better than last year. As the registration numbers continue to increase, so does the excitement of our speakers. These Alteryx users are excited to tell their stories around how Alteryx is changing the way they can do business.

 

With a wide variety of industries and speakers, the Solutions Center and even free training sessions, it can be difficult to know where to focus your time. In order to help, I want to give a sneak peek into some of the Data Analyst Track sessions and speakers so you know why you can't afford to miss this track at Inspire 2015:

 

1. Sprint: Creating the Best Wireless Experience with Alteryx
SprintAs one of the nation's largest wireless providers, Sprint strives on delivering the best experience they can to their clients. In this session, Brenden Weeks, RF Engineer, Sprint and John Kullman, GIS Business Intelligence Analyst, Sprint will share how they utilizing Alteryx and Tableau to blend a wide variety of technical data from their nationwide wireless network and delivers key performance indicators in Tableau, and improved their network experience.

 

2. Cardinal Health: Improving Sales Performance with Data Blending and Advanced Analytics
Cardinal HealthCardinal Health, a Fortune 500 health care services company, will be highlighting how their Nuclear Pharmaceutical Services Division is utilizing Alteryx, Teradata and Tableau to help sales. Jeffrey Halfon, Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics, Cardinal Health will share how the company is combining data from Salesforce.com, an Access Database, an Excel spreadsheet, and Teradata to help their sales teams visualize sales results, along with a forecast for current and future quarters.

 

3. Delhaize:Blend and Batch: A Macro View of Developing Trade Areas
DelhaizeDelhaize America, LLC operates over 1,500 food supermarkets in the eastern United States under the Food Lion, Hannaford, and Bottom Dollar Food brands. In this session, Jon Albertini, Manager of GeoAnalytics, Delhaize America and Mandy Gray, GeoAnalytics Analyst, Delhaize Americawill share how they use Alteryx to update trade area geographies for over 1,000 grocery stores and work within clients' existing file structures and inconsistencies. They will show how to achieve successful data blending where data organization is not optimal, and analysis depends on accessing disparate, archived datasets.

 

4. Rentrak: Automate to Innovate 1000X Faster
RentrakRentrak collects viewing data from 31 million televisions daily, resulting in over 180 billion transactions per year. In this session, Shaye Eller, Director of Analytical Solutions, Rentrakwill demonstrate how direct database connections and Alteryx analytic apps have turned recurring, eight hour custom projects into an automated process that takes 30 seconds or less. See how their data analysts are getting results 1,000 times faster than before, while empowering stakeholders such as sales and account management to become self-reliant so analysts can focus on the most innovative work.

 

5. Clear Channel Outdoor: Building On-Demand Business Location Datasets
Clear Channel OutdoorClear Channel Outdoor is one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world, providing everything from billboards alongside the nation's highways and the largest billboard in the U.S. located in Times Square, all the way down to advertising on bus shelters and other wall-hanging advertising. Maintaining a current set of locations for their clients and their competitors is a constant challenge. John Hollingsworth, GIS Manager, Clear Channel Outdoor will share how Alteryx helps generate a list of business locations on demand, and analyze website traffic. John will help you determine which tools will be needed to gain the confidence that your analysis is based on the most current set of business point data available.
