Chained application did not work with schedule

Hi friends,

I have a chained application on Alteryx server. When I run manually, it works well, but when i set schedule, It seems like only first app was run? And I set up sent email after run next app, but i did not receive email even thought i run success manually?

Do you have any idea?

Hi @huynv96 , could you share with us sample workflows for us to look at your chained workflow setup? Also take a look at the following community article to make sure you have addressed all steps mentioned in-here: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Server-Knowledge-Base/Chaining-Workflows-Together/ta-p/3857.... Chained workflows can sometimes be hard to debug given the nature of different moving parts involved.

Hi @AbhilashR , Sorry, I could not share because of sensitive info.

I read the article you mentioned.

I used run an other app after successful method.

And upload other app as asset of first app:

The last app have event sent email after run.

So, when i run manually in server, it works except it did not sent email. But schedule did not work

Hi @huynv96 - sorry about my delayed response. The Gallery I use does not have a scheduler and hence not able to test chained apps running via scheduler. That being said, could you also try the other approach Dan suggests in his post? The one where we can use Events >> Add >> Run Command. I did come across another Community article where the user was looking to achieve something similar to you, but didnt get a solution. Perhaps this is a known issue.
