We have many workflows scheduled on Alteryx Server.
When one of these workflows fails we would like Alteryx Server to send an email to alert us to the fail.
Is it possible to set this up as we schedule the workflows?

You can create an email event in the workflow itself with the setting "After run with errors". I'll dig out an example
I set up a simple workflow. The email config for the email tool is as below:
The email setup for the event is as below. I put the same smtp entry as we use in the email tool.
There is no input box in the event configuration to put in the port number.
The workflow runs and sends the email from the email tool, but not the one from the event.
How do I set up the smtp entry to get the event email to send properly?
I pushed the workflow to Server and the alerts are working there but not on the virtual machine that I run Designer on.
Probably some setting on the VM I would assume.
