Here's some documentation on how to deploy Alteryx Server on AWS: http://downloads.alteryx.com/Documentation/Alteryx%20Server%20on%20AWS.pdf

Let me know if this helps!

Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your response. I have gone through the document which you shared and it covers mostly on AWS infrastructure setup such as instance size, cores, memory ect.. I have created AWS infrastructure setup based on this document. I have few questions after that.

1. I am gonna install Alteryx server on  multi nodes(Three nodes). we have 20 core license. I built three ec2 instances with 4 cores for primary node and two 8 cores for worker nodes. My question is, after we install on forst node, do we need to take any bootstrap file to install on worker node or is there any specific process.

2. How three nodes will communicate internally. Do we need to create load balancer at AWS side?

Please suggest. Thanks

Stay safe!!

Hi Again,

Here's a good document to help: http://downloads.alteryx.com/Documentation/Alteryx%20Server%20Install%20and%20Configuration.pdf

This will help explain how to install Server with multi-nodes. You will have one primary Server that will act as the controller machine(configure this as if you're installing Alteryx Server on a single machine for now). You will then have the other nodes set up as worker nodes by configuring them with the unique controller security token so they can communicate. You'll find more about setting up the worker nodes on the bottom of page 11.

I also found this community article about adding a worker node specifically: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Server-Knowledge-Base/Adding-a-Worker-Node/ta-p/455827
