We are updating the requirements for Community registration. As of 7/21/21 all users will be required to register a phone number with their My Alteryx accounts. If you have already registered, you will be prompted on your next login to add your phone number.
This is most likely caused by a licensing error or an issue that can arise from the AlteryxService shutting down unexpectedly . It can also be due to an incorrect or expired license, or a correct license not being installed with admin rights, or in the case of Runtime-only users (this type of license has been phased out for all but a few legacy clients).
Unable to start up AlteryxService.
The following errors will be in the LastStartupError.txt.
1. "Service cannot start. No valid Alteryx licenses found. Please ensure that the license file is installed correctly as an Administrator"
2. "Unable to start Queue service, insufficient license"
The Alteryx License Server is an implementation of our technology partner Flexera Software ’s Local License Server , and allows for the deployment of a local license server within an organizations’ internal network. This allows for a smoother and more secure deployment of Alteryx products, especially behind proxies and firewalls.
