How To: Check in Registry Whether Server is installed

At times IT might want to programmatically install and provision Alteryx Server. The Windows Registry provides information on install status of Server.

Procedure

  1. Open Start > Registry Editor
  2. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{2E60F15F-3451-465C-B6A2-62A3BA5AA56A}.
  • If this key exists Server is installed.
