Error: “Problem Loading App”


Environment Details



A workflow created in a higher Designer version can be published to a lower Server version if the Gallery information already exists in the machine. Manual running of the workflow in Gallery will throw out the "Problem Loading App" but a scheduled job will run without an error (just a warning in the engine log).

Cause

 

The "Problem Loading App" error occurs when attempting to run a workflow that is created in a higher Designer version than the Server version in Gallery.



Resolution

 

GCSE-327/TCPE-161 has been logged to address the inconsistent behaviors between running a workflow from Gallery and scheduling a job.
