Server S2: Bulk Add Users

We have the need to bulk-add users, and to bring in their information (full name; location; etc) from Active directory.

 

Right now, adding users is a 1:1 process which is highly painful.

Desire is to be able to take a list of Kerberos IDs, and bulk add them as users - and then select a group of them and permission either for the gallery; or for designer licenses.

It would be great to be able to import a list of users to the Gallery when using Built-In Authentication instead of having to create users one by one via Gallery Admin > Users. An option would be to import a csv file for example in which the username, password and permission is specified.

Allowing creation of users via API would also be an acceptable solution for many users.

Thanks @SeanAdams for the idea. Bulk add of users is a common request in the Enterprise space. We will be accounting for this in our Next Gen platform. I may reach out to you later when we further refine this feature.
