To expand on @gade_joseph_r 's post. Enabling OAuth 2.0 will allow users to call the Alteryx server from Microsoft Logic Apps or Microsoft Flow workflows. Currently Microsoft support the following protocols posted below. This would open up many different use cases combining the power of Alteryx and Azure.
Are you able to connect with oAuth if you use the server API layer? This is protected via oAuth so that should give you some starting points to execute Alteryx jobs from external calls?
We are really interested in your idea, however we cannot fit this idea on the near future road map. We’ll keep this idea in mind however and update the status once we’re better able to speak on when and if we can implement it.
