workflows scheduled in Gallery take lowest precedence over the ones on the server

WHy is the workflows scheduled in Gallery take lowest precedence over the ones on the server.

IS there any settings that need to be changes ?

What do you mean by comparing precedence between Gallery and server?

Gallery runs on the server.  Can you elaborate more and give more details how both jobs are being setup?

When Workflows scheduled trough Gallery , it is always the last in the queue as against scheduled through controller. workflows scheduled through controller seems to move higher up and push the gallery scheduled ones down in the queue.

What version of Alteryx Server do you have?

There was a defect in the past where the same behavior you see was present, which is already fixed on the current version.
