Is there a way to find out which workflow use how much memory while it is running.

thanks so much for the help

Hi there.

Unfortunately memory usage for a workflow is not stored in the database so it would have to be a more manual process such as monitoring the Task Manager for the AlteryxEngineCmd.exe process. However, if there are other processes going on that are using memory it may be difficult to narrow down how much specifically the Alteryx workflow is using.

Thanks for the response. Some workflow consume about 5GB memory , we would like to know which ones are those and work on improving the workflow so that it will not impact other workflrows on the server

At this time Alteryx does not store the information relating to how much memory a particular workflow is using. The process of monitoring which workflow is the result of high memory usage would need to be manual through Task Manager. A good start would be identifying which workflows are larger in size and process large amounts of data - at that point you can monitor Task Manager to narrow down which specific workflow of the larger ones is the culprit taking up that much memory.
