'str' object has no attribute 'get' Power BI output tool error in Alteryx Server

Question

Hi All,

This is an intresting error message from Alteryx Server for Power BI Output tool, I installed the tool in correct drive as suggested by Alteryx and did the same in my desktop as well

When i run the workflow in my desktop it works super fine and dumps the data into Power BI Server but, if i run the same workflow in Alteryx Server it is throwing me this error "'str' object has no attribute 'get'"

I tried verifying all the sources but did not find any possible reason for this issue, did someone had this issue in the past ? FYI i am using very latest version of Alteryx which is 2025.1 so, there shouldn't be any issue there

@KGT  I tried to check the system settings and our IT made sure the DC< settings are set to Allow all however i still see the same error message which is weird !!

You can check versions etc to make sure that the PowerBI Tool version is correct, but first thing I would check is DCM settings on the server in System Settings. It needs to be set to "Allow All" for SDK Connections:
