"AlteryxService started and then stopped"

When trying to run Alteryx Server, I am getting the attached error message and not sure what to do. 

Server version is 2023.1. Upgraded within the past 2 weeks and hasn't had any trouble running until today.

Any troubleshooting methods or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I came across this issue before and spent tremendous amount of time with both Alteryx support and internal teams to troubleshoot. Ultimately, we discovered that the root issue was that my SAML authentication setup was using an IDP metadata URL that is unreachable from the server itself. As the metadata URL is blocked outside of the Alteryx application, we were unable to determine where it is blocked and for what reason, but we were able to change the SAML settings in the Alteryx System Settings to use the X509 certificate directly with the IDP SSO URL. Ultimately, my network team made additional changes and afterward the service starts and stays started fine.
