Workflow Credential - Not able to Create in the Alteryx Gallery

Hi All,

 

Recently I set up an Alteryx Server in MS windows 2012 machine and configured as mentioned in the Config document.

 

Single machine is being used a server.

 

I could not able to create the Workflow credential.

 

Message says: Invalid user name and password. Screen shot enclosed.

 

Do I need to setup the Active Directory server in the MS windows 2012 machine?

 

Could you please let me know how to over come this issue?

Hi @Rvelan

 

Workflow credentials are essentially 'Run as' credentials so instead of using the default user (normally a service account) you can "impersonate" a different user and run the Alteryx process using their credentials. This means that it needs to be a user recognised by Windows on your server.
