In the past, the Alteryx Server API required the use of Private Studio Keys & Secrets for some endpoints. Since version 2022.1, the API now requires the use of API keys & secrets which are tied to individual users.
Studios/Subscriptions are scheduled to go away and be migrated to Collections in 2024.
3 questions:
- How will this affect authentication via the Alteryx Server API?
- Will users need to have access to workflows via Collections in order to access them via the Server API? Today, users must have access to the Studio/Subscription a workflow lives in... how will this change?
- Will legacy endpoints (V1) need to be converted to V2 or V3 endpoints? Some legacy endpoints leverage Studio/Subscription names, which is why I ask.
Thank you to everyone who is able to provide insight on this.
