Hi all!
As the title suggests, I've been looking at ways to use alternate tools to the file browse or tools / interface tools that persist in the MongoDB or even is included in the workflow packages to the Server.
Recently, I've come across the method to download data from Google BigQuery from Python and exporting via Python back to GBQ as well. I know we can use In-DB, Output tool, and the deprecated GBQ Output tool, but we encountered a lot of issues with the tools and at one point had an issue where the DB was pointing to the US when we are in Asia.
Anyway, I digress. I am curious to know if anyone has tried utilizing Python or even R tool to import and export data for Server usage. It would be a tremendous leap, and helps in overcoming a lot of hurdles for us.
Thanks!
Just to add, is it possible then for end users to upload files to OneDrive for example, and have Python access OneDrive to read that file.
I know I'm simplifying a lot, but I want to get the base idea straight.
Just tried remote to Server's Designer and Python doesn't even open. I think I'll need to whitelist some URLs for Python to load - any advice on this from the community? Would greatly appreciate it...
