When i log to the Gallery, Time Zone Support Pop-up window is coming and when I select Time zone filter, its blank and tried to pick blank value and save, but still not going
@stevelogue1980 Can you try hitting holding Shift and then hitting F5 to see if that gets it?
For some customers, refreshing and immediately clicking a menu item on the left (like Collections) before the dialog appears will allow the list of time zones to correctly populate the dialog. The timing is tight, so it may take a couple of tries. This issue is being investigated. (case 00569130)
I tried that method and i still get the time zone support and unable to bypass.
Has this time zone box been resolved yet?
This issue is with our Dev Team now (defect TCPE-506).
Having a user with similar issue. Any pointers on how to get it resolved?

If that's not working, please open a Support ticket and you can mention my name, Ed Phelps, and I can walk you through setting the timezone directly in the user record in Mongo. This is a quick workaround.Our 2023.1 Server UI was largely rewritten in a new UI framework and appears to have addressed this issue, as well as creating a smoother UI experience.

Hi - Has this issue actually been resolved? We just installed the latest available for 2023.1 and I was able to access gallery once before this pop-up now prevents moving forward.

We believed we had corrected the timezone selection issue and I'd like to see what's happening for you."The new server doesn't allow 'List of Sheet Names' import" -- this was a defect in the initial 23.1 release and was corrected in 23.1 Patch 2 (TPRI-2493). The issue stephenkopriva raises regarding the timezone list appearing but the Save button not working is specific to 23.1. We've identified this as a defect related to users with no First and/or Last name, which is common with Service accounts but would not affect typical users (Cher, Beyonce, and Rambo excepted). Defect GCSE-1628.
This appears to be the fix. Thank you so much for turning around so quickly!

@compass Hi -- A few issues have been mentioned in this conversation. GCSE-1628 is specific to 23.1 Server where a new user doesn't have a first or last name (common for Service Accounts). The behavior experienced is that the list of timezones will appear as expected, but the Save button will be unresponsive (if viewing the Chrome debug console errors will appear when the Save button is clicked stating the Last name--or First name--can't be blank). If this is the experience you're having the workaround is to add a First or Last name to the Mongo collection of users, then reload the browser and attempt the login again). This can be done through an API, PUT /v3/users/{id}. If you have any issues with this, please open a case and you're welcome to ask for me and we'll get your user going!Ed Phelps

We've just gt Alteryx server and I have the same problem as highlighted original on this thread, where the Time zone pop-up window wont disappear.
I tried Shift + F5, but that did not work - does anyone have any other suggestions on how to resolve this?

@LeeClark75 -- you're listing 23.2 as your Server version so I'm concerned this issue wasn't fully addressed. I'm opening a case for you and would like to meet briefly to document the issue and your version. I want to make sure the problem is presenting with the same errors in the browser's debug screen. and then we'll manually fix the user record and let them get back to work.@LeeJD -- The workaround is to enter the timezone directly into the user's record in the database. However, all direct edits in Mongo need to be done after you ensure you have a backup and that you are only editing elements that we've validated in Support can be edited. If you're comfortable copying the the timezone value from an existing user record to the user that's unable to login, it will resolve the issue. If you'd like to do this in a screen share, please open a case and you can mention my name, Ed Phelps. The process only takes a minute after we install Studio 3T on your Server.Thank you!

Hi, I asked my access management team to include my first and last name in my service account.

@GabrielFernandes It sounds like you may have tried to log in, then had IT fill in both a first name in your AD account. Your first login attempt generated a record in the Alteryx Server users collection without a first (or last) name and is leading to the issue you're experiencing.Can you open a case in our Case Portal? I asked another administrator who has access to the Alteryx server to access the platform and edit the user directly through the editing tool. This solved the problem.
