Text Boxes in macro don't show up when running from Gallery

I have an Analytic App that takes  a couple of input in Text Boxes from users when it's run.  I'm trying to put the Text Boxes and a few subsequent tools into a macro for reuse.  I noticed that the new Analytics App with the new macro does not show the Text Boxes for user input anymore when run in the Gallery.  Instead it still shows the Questions tab but with the message "There are no questions to display.".  Is this expected behavior when Text Boxes are in a macro instead of directly in the Analytics App?

If you'd like the user to control macro inputs via an analytical app in the Gallery, you'll need to bring the controls one level up and have them available as interface tools in the analytical app itself. We will not be able to render controls embedded within the macro.
