Shared credentials and AD authentication for ODBC connections

Hi all,

Wondering about how this might work:

I have a server whose OS has still to be fully configured to allow the 'run as' functionality to work as intended; at present I expect its group policy doesn't allow it as mentioned here.

My aim is that I want users to be able to connect to an Azure Synapse SQL as themselves rather than as the server's local account. If I have the group policy amended and have users run the workflow as themselves by setting their credentials on run, will this allow for AD (Interactive) authentication for a DSNless ODBC connection?

Thanks,
Stuart
