SharePoint or OneDrive for Server?

Hi all! 

This post comes in the form of a general question between SharePoint and OneDrive connectors along with their performance on the Server. 

Because of internal requirements, we opted for these two tools in the interim to get our Server up and running with workflows. However, when we convert our workflows into apps or into general workflows for the servers, the usage of SharePoint/OneDrive has slowed us down and lag us in real time when we build workflows. 

We also encounter some fail authentication errors because we are connected via Secret keys. We’ve been going in a circle for sometime now on this and I was wondering if any Server experts here could chip in. 

Would appreciate all advice!

That’s weird, my last portion was cut off. I meant to ask - now I’m down to choosing between SharePoint and OneDrive connectors as my inputs and outputs. I was wondering which is better in the long run for maintenance - and what should I look out for. 

In my mind, I think OneDrive would be easier to connect and store stuff, and purging from an end user would be much simpler. SharePoint is useful too but IT controls the creation of such sites and is quite a hassle to build too many sites.
