Setting up new Worker Server for Alteryx

Hi Team,

We are building a new server to install Worker component and add additional capacity to our ALteryx environment. Do you know if there is a way to replicate existing worker setting to the new worker installation. For example, will copying the system aliases file from one worker to another worker with encrypted passwords work?

Regards,

Arun

I believe this discussion post has the same question. https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Server-Discussions/Worker-Node-Config-Management/td-p/18207...

Generally, when setting up a new worker, we need to configure it from scratch.

Hi,

Check with Alteryx support.  We asked and they said  they did not support.  I believe it is technically possible.  If you do from scratch and If you added python libraries you'll new to install them on the new node.  You can keep all libraries in a requirements file which makes that step easier.
