Set Defualt date for Date Tool in Alteryx Gallery

Question

Hi,

I have a workflow where I have a date filter for users to be able to filter the date. Alteryx automatically defaults the Start date and End date to today's date. Please how can I default the date to a particular date without Alteryx resetting the date in Gallery when the workflow is about to be run?

Thank you for your reply. I checked the link to the post you mentioned but I couldn't replicate the logic in Alteryx. Please could you do a mock up of the logic for me in Alteryx?

This is a screenshot of my date filters in Alteryx. I am doing a date range logic where the user can select the start date and end date.

Hi @vibes360 -

I am not aware of a way to natively default the Date Interface tool to specific dates; however, this Community post shows how another user has created a workaround to set defaults but still allowed the end-user to update the dates if they vary from the default.
