Ran into an issue where when a user in a specific collection selects a specific app, that selection brings them to their home gallery page. When this was attempted to be recreated, one window brought the user to the Home Gallery Page, while another window brought the user to their private gallery page. Sometimes this occurred in the same window. What it hasn't done was actually open the app. It only happens for one app in one collection. It has not been recreated in any other collections. The App has been deleted from the collection and resaved and the issue persists. This was on server version 2020.3 and designer version 2019.1. (we are mid upgrade)
**SOLUTION**
We determined that the cause of this was due to an "&" in the name of the APP. Once the ampersand was removed, the app opened right up and operated as normal.
Please take this as a bug and address accordingly.
