Search option in Open From > Alteryx Gallery not showing results.

Dear Community,

I am having an issue with findings the workflows in my alteryx gallery through the designer interface.

I attached screenshots to explain the case.

To summarize:

- I am opening a workflow from the gallery.

- Then all the existing workflows I have access to show up in the gallery.

- When trying to search for specific workflows it returns empty.

Is this an known bug or something that can be fixed from our side?

@MHaak think this has been mentioned before where the search functionality is just pretty bad and you need to type in the exact item you’re looking for. If you search for the exact workflow name does that show up a result?

No also with the full name it doesn't work.

However I have another Alteryx Gallery environment where it does work.

@MHaak from a search it looks like this can be often be an issue relating to indexing on the gallery - may need to reach out to Alteryx Support unless there's a simpler explanation/resolution that others can offer.

We are also facing the similar situration with finding workflows in designer via gallery..

We didn't do anything about the issue, but it seems to be resolved by itself.

Therefore I cannot tell you what was the solution :(
