Scheduler load on Server or Desktop?

Hello,

I have multiple workflows on my desktop designer that I want to schedule using Alteryx Server (either Gallery or Controller).
When I do this, does the processing load fall on the Server or the desktop/designer?

In order to schedule on server, you have top publish your workflows to server and then schedule them from within your Gallery. So, that's completely removed from your desktop.

The other way to schedule is to obtain a desktop scheduler licence that you activate in the licence key area on your Alteryx Desktop. You then schedule workflows on your desktop and they run on your desktop.
