Scheduled Workflow fails with OpenDesktop error after several hours

Hi everyone,

 

I have an issue when running a scheduled workflow.

 

Setup:

- workflow run from local disk on my machine

- System settings are to use my own windows user account

 

The workflow runs fine for 5-10hours, then all of a sudden every subsequent run fails with this error:

After restarting my PC the workflow runs fine again for a couple of hours.

Does anyone know what this issue is and how this could be resolved?

In case anyone comes across the same issue.

I updated the Alteryx service in the Windows services to use my own user account and password and since then the issue hasn't appeared anymore...
