Our organization is currently experiencing a very annoying issue with scheduled workflows on the Alteryx server which we have not been able to resolve. So far support has not come up with a solution either, so I am now posting here in the community forum hoping that someone might have seen this issue before.
Short description of the issue:
We are running an Alteryx Server with Gallery, which we use to schedule workflows. On a frequent basis - but with no apparent pattern - we see that all our scheduled workflows simultaneously goes from the "Active" state and into being "Disabled" (see image below). When we click "edit schedule" on the disabled workflows it shows this error in red text: "The workflow cannot be accessed. Request access or delete the schedule." The admin then have to re-enable all scheduled workflows manually by checking the "Enable this schedule" box.
As mentioned, we have not found any cause or pattern for this to happen - sometimes it happens within a week, sometimes a month.
Our setup and what we have tried:
Alteryx server version: 2018.4.5.55178
Alteryx Designer version: 2018.4.3.54046
We have a handful of users (Artisans) who schedule workflows from their Alteryx Designer and onto our internal Alteryx Server Gallery. We use "built in authentication" which enables us to lookup users in our current AD and let them run workflows in their own user context (after they have supplied their AD credentials in the "Workflow credentials" admin section).
The scheduled workflows seem to run fine for quite a while (sometimes a few weeks, sometimes a month), but then at some point they all simultaneously change to the "Disabled" state. We have investigated and tried the following:
If anyone has seen this issue before, or have any input for the troubleshooting I would be very happy to hear it!

thats not the case with us, we still dont have an RCA . However, our last occurrence of disabled schedules had some reason to it - the subscription has reached its end date. Once the subscription reaches its end date - the schedules are going to disabled state.
this is just one possibility. I am not totally sure what all scenarios could lead to disabled schedules.
@Wesley_dup_368 Thanks for the input. We have not experienced any users disappearing from the permissions tab and most of the time (but not all) we have seen that all scheduled workflows become disabled and not only for specific users.
@RoelEsselink We have not re-assigned users to different private studios, we use the same one for all users in our current setup.
In our case the studio stayed the same.
We are experiencing the same issue - for one user only (at least for now).
Did any of you find a cause for this happening?
Unfortunately we did not find the cause but just the solution. We have not had anymore issues with this recently.
Thank you - unfortunately i don't think the root cause is the same on our case as there were no changes on the users permissions...
We've opened a ticket with Alteryx Support - from experience I can say that the chances are slim for them to provide a viable reason for this happening.
Was there any fix for this issue ?
We came across the same issue for multiple users.
No system fix. We manually entered the users back in and that solved the issue.
Unfortunately we have not been able to find the cause or a fix for this either. We still have several users that have all their workflows disabled and we have to manually enable all of them afterwards, which is a big issue for the stability of our operations.
Hoping the Alteryx engineers and support can find a cause and solution soon.

Today it happened once again, all schedules for a specific user got disabled with the "The workflow cannot be accessed. Request access or delete the schedule." error.
