SMTP Gmail not working & IDP SAML SSO for Google Suite & Apps

Hi everybody

I have looked through communities and google on how to configure SMTP on Alteryx Server, however to no avail. I kept getting this error even after waiting 24 hours for Google to update their settings backend. This is connected to my company's Google Suite and it supports the other SAML apps.

The error shown is "Please enter a valid email address". I've tried to google for this error, and seems like this error is pertaining to how alteryx server manages the SMTP commands sent over TLS/SSL.

I'm using these settings, port 465. And attached picture shows the error.

Secondly, has anyone configured SSO IDP with Google Apps?

Are you sure your company doesn't block this is anyway?

Certainly no firewall on this server, i've placed the server logically segmented infront of the firewall, NAT 1:1 with a public IP address and nothing stands between them except a CE device.
