Parametric workflow to access filepath from local machine - using alteryx gallery API

We are trying to achieve a functionality where my program calls workflow with filepath(Physical Path) as parameter using Alteryx gallery API.

 

The filepath is to be opened from my local machine and not from server. Is it possible to achieve?

 

If yes, kindly let me know the steps for the same.
