No Output option when publishing to Alteryx Server

Hi, any help would be much appreciated. 🙂

The app I've built and uploaded to the gallery is not showing an output (only the input) in the group assets by tool option. 

Please see below.

When I run this in the gallery it says successfully run but no output file. 

Any idea why this might be happening? It works in my workflow when I select the options I want.

Is the file path for your output absolute or relative?

Also, are you using a render tool or an output data tool?

Hi Luke, 

My workflow looks like below. I am using a basic table and a rendered table (temp PDF - but happy to use any type of output). I'm not sure what is meant by absolute or relative, I'm really sorry.

Thanks for the additional info!

Because it is rendering to a temporary pdf, you will not have the opportunity/need to package the asset.

I would recommend setting the output in the render tool to Choose a Specific Output File and set the name of the pdf (or whatever file type you would like). Here is an example from one of my workflows:

By doing this, you will then have the option to package the output and download it from the gallery after running.
