Hi all,
We're looking at moving to an Enterprise Mongo instance - and a key question is whether Alteryx supports connecting to a Mongo cluster that requires keytab kerberos authentication.
Can anyone confirm if this is natively supported in Alteryx Server?
thank you everyone
Sean

Hi Sean,
Currently Alteryx Server (as well as the MongoDB Input/Output tools) do not support connecting to a Mongo cluster requiring kerberos authentication or SSL. I'd recommend posting the request for kerberos authentication with Mongo as a product idea on the Ideas section of the community as I wasn't able to locate a current one. I believe SSL connections for Mongo may be in the works already, but don't have any information as to when that particular item would be included.

Hey @MikeSp,
Thanks for confirming - it's not the outcome that we were hoping for, but it's good that we have confirmation so that we can plan how to move forward.
What auth mode to large enterprise-scale customers generally use between the server and Enterprise Mongo?
Thanks @MikeSp
Sean
