Merging Two servers into one

We are about to undertake a project to merge Alteryx servers onto a single instance.

We are trying to find out if anyone has an automated process (a workflow using server APIs or a script to modify the MongoDB) that could be used to consolidate the servers rather than the painful process of migrating content from one server to the other manually.

So an FYI for anyone looking later, I contacted Alterxy Support and there is still no automated process to do this.

It can be done by the following process:

  1. Create all the users from the server to be migrated on the new server.
  2. using the migration workflow here to move the workflows from the old server to the new server.

creating the users can be automated with the new APIs in 2021.4
