Macro registration on Gallery

Hi all,

I would like to seek your advice on the best practices to share macros across the team.

Previously, my team built macros and stored them on our network shared drive.

Now that we have launched our Gallery, I understand they are still referencing the macros on the drive based on the filepaths saved in the macro.

Is there a way to register macros on the Gallery and build our workflows to reference these macros?

from my end (our company) we each have our own copy.. then if the macro is updated a notification is sent (usually we have a teams channel all about alteryx and updated macro is uploaded in a file there.. so everyone is notified and can update their copy. also annotation is placed within the macro's WF when it was first created and updated and who created and updated it.
