I can't access the alteryx server gallery in my local.

Hi guys,

I need help in alteryx server.

We already installed the alteryx server to our server. 

Yes, It's working in server using http:/localhost/gallery/.

But I need to access it to my own laptop.

So I changed it to http:/serveripadd/gallery. But It's not working.

Also I changed it to server name. Did not work also.

And giving me the messaged "this site cant' be reached."

Any idea guys? Sorry for my bad English.

Hi Richard, 

I would recommend checking if you are able to ping the server from your laptop, also verify the url is entered correctly. Do you have firewall or Antivirus enabled? Is Alteryx service running in your laptop?

Yes, I can ping the IP of the server using my laptop. But when I tried to ping the https://serverip/galllery is says "unable to find host".

Two  things I could think of 

1. Ensure Server system settings -> Gallery General -> Base Address section has URL in this format. http://hostname/gallery. We have faced similar error if the base address is http://localhost/gallery

2. Ensure the URL you type in your laptop browser is http://hostname/gallery and not https://hostname/gallery. from the URL you have mentioned in your post, I see SSL has not been enabled.
